Applicants
During its 3 years running, more than 40 students from all over
the world have been admitted in the MSc European Forestry. About
20 nationalities have been represented among them, and some are
already working in international forest companies and institutions.
Who can apply?
The MSc EF is offered to applicants with the highest potential
for graduate study and working skills.
MSc EF is open to all students who have a bachelor's degree in
forestry or a minimum of 3 years of study of high education in forestry.
The EU students can apply for the MSc EF through any of the 6 participating
universities: Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Sweden),
University for Agricultural Sciences Vienna (Austria), University
of Joensuu (Finland), University of Lleida (Spain), Wageningen University
(The Netherlands), and Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg (Germany).
Students from non-EU countries (third-country nationals)
can apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. In
particular, nationals coming from all countries other than the 25
EU Member States (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland,
France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal,
the UK, Sweden, Cyprus, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta,
Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia), the EEA-EFTA states
(Island, Liechtenstein and Norway) and the candidate countries for
accession to the EU (presently Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey), who
are not residents of any of the above countries, and who have not
carried out their main activities (studies, work, etc.) for more
than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the
above countries are considered third-country nationals.
