Recommendations
to students
from non-EU countries
We recommend to all the students from non EU-countries
who want to join the MSc EF, to check the conditions for obtaining
a residence
permit in Finland or in any other EU-country. Once the student has been admitted in the Master,
it will be provided with an invitation letter in order to facilitate his application for a residence
permit.
Because during the first year of the MSc EF Programme a majority of the courses are organized in Joensuu (Finland), we will advice the accepted non-EU students to apply to their respective Finnish Embassy/Consulate for a Residence Permit to Finland for one year. At the end of the first year of studies, the student must apply for a residence permit/visa to the country or countries where the elective courses and Master Thesis will be taken.
