POC Aims

a) bringing together the experiences that students gained during the Applied Periods, and

b) preparing the thesis part of the Programme: presenting a research proposal constitutes a part of the student's POC activities.

c) The main aim of the POC is for the students to be given a problem, and in groups they apply their skills and experience in dealing with it.

Organisation

The first POC was organised in Solsona, Spain by university of Lleida, in May 2002 and February 2003. The 2005 POC will be in May held in Vienna (Austria), hosted by BOKU. The topic will be "Mountain Forestry".
