NOTE: The information presented below is for applicants willing to participate in the MSc European Forestry Erasmus Mundus as students. Applications and Scholarships

25 students from 17 countries were selected in 2007 for the academic year 2007-2009 of MSc European Forestry. Similarly, 21 students from 15 countries are participating in the batch of 2008-2010. Up to now, 109 students from 40 countries have successfully participated in this course.

The number of Erasmus Mundus scholarships for MScEF course 2009-2011 is 14. This scholarship will be available only for non European students (but not for European students). In addition to the scholarships financed under the Erasmus Mundus programme, in total 140 additional student scholarships were available for 103 Erasmus Mundus MSc courses for the 2009-2011 academic year via a specific regional window for students from the Western Balkans and Turkey. The following countries were covered by the "Western Balkans and Turkey Window": Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo under UNSC Resolution 1244/99, as well as the three candidate countries i.e. Croatia , Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey .

The applicants must focus their interest to choice the MSc courses financed under Erasmus Mundus. They are not allowed to apply more than 3 Erasmus Mundus MSc courses. The MSc European Forestry programme warmly welcomes all interested students and professionals from all over the world including Europe to submit applications to earn quality education.

We specially encourage women candidates to apply and, in conditions of equal qualifications, gender balance may be used as a selection criterion.

The MSc EF consortium also welcomes applications from the students with disabilities, offering them on the same academic grounds as applications from other candidates. Since additional funding for disabled students from the Erasmus Mundus programme may be available, applicants with disabilities are kindly asked to include all information in their application form.

Who can apply?

The MSc EF is open to all students and professionals who have a bachelor's degree in forestry, natural resource managment or related sciences, and a fluent level of English. For more details, please check the MSc EF requirements.

You will also find all the instructions and details of application. Those applying for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship must mark the correspondent box in the application form, therefore no separate application for the Erasmus Mundus scholarships is needed.

How much does it cost?

Economic conditions differ for European and non-European (third-country) participants, due to the different regulations that are applied regarding Consortium Fees and Scholarships. Please, check the details for your particular case for complete information on fees, expenses and scholarships.
