August 2009: Welcoming and Orientation for MSc EF 2009-2011 students in Helsinki will start on 26th August 2009. Call for applications for the academic year 2009-2011 for the European nationalities is now over.

May 2008: European Forestry Field Course -2008 (1 st may - 8 th June in Spain , France , Germany , the Netherlands )
April 2008 - Mr.Ashraful Alam has been elected as the MSc EF Delegate for 2 nd EMA General Assembly in Perugia , Italy (6 th – 7 th June, 2008)
March 2008: An extra call only for EU nationals for the MSc EF course 2008-2010 opens, with deadline on the 6th June 2008. Application form and instructions are posted in the MScEF website. October 2007: The MSc EF application period for the course 2008-2010 opens, with deadline on the 31st December 2007. The next international call for applicants is expected to open in Autumn 2008.
June 2007: MSc EF student Patience Mayaki -currently at Wageningen Univ.- on the International Conference of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) Read more June 2007: 4 additional European students are accepted to the MSc European Forestry 2007-2009, to join the already accepted 23 students. All 27 students are expected to arrive at Helsinki on 29th August for the starting of the MSc EF Course, which begins with a welcoming programme in Helsinki and Stockholm, followed by the 4-week course Trends in European Forestry in Garpenberg (Sweden).
May-June 2007: The European Forestry Field Course takes the students to an intensive fforest and cultural tour through Spain, France, Germany and The Netherlands in a 5-week course. The course is followed by the course Multifunctional Forestry in Mountain Regions held in Austria during 2 weeks organised by BOKU.
March 2007: All applicants -inlcuding the 23 accepted students- are informed by email on the selection decission made by the MSc European Forestry Consortium concerning the course 2007-2009.
January 2007: The application period for the MSc EF Course 2007--2009 closes on 31st December 2006. Over 200 candidates from nearly 40 countries submit their application.
October-December 2006: The MSc EF 2006-2008 students carry out their Applied Period in Forest Institutions at different European organizations. |
